FILM SCORES

Dan Deacon’s work in scoring film and series includes projects for major studios and outlets such as Netflix, PBS, ESPN, and Apple TV+. His feature film scores include Twixt (Francis Ford Coppola, 2011), Rat Film (Theo Anthony, 2016), Strawberry Mansion (Albert Birney and Kentucker Audley, 2021), and the Adam Sandler drama Hustle (Jeremiah Zagar, 2022).

Deacon’s score for Jessica Kingdon’s Oscar-nominated documentary Ascension won the award for Outstanding Achievement in Original Music Score at the 2022 Cinema Eye Honors. Most recently, Deacon scored the entirety of the Apple TV+ series The Changeling, starring LaKeith Stanfield, Adina Porter, Clark Backo, and Samuel T. Herring (of Future Islands).
